Week 16: Peru
From the beautiful region Cajamarca in Peru, Kovachii coffee is designed to capture the quintessential flavor of Northern Peru. With most single origin coffees the flavor will vary from season to season, but with Kovachii it is always sweet and delicious. Most of the coffee produced in Peru is processed by hand on the producer's farm. The organic cherries are selectively harvested, de-pulped, processed and dried on patios, drying beds and tarps. This medium roast has a distinct delectable flavor with hints of pecans, cocoa and vanilla.
For many of my Peruvian friends and customers, finding their hometown brew is such a treat. They just love this familiar taste from home. As we all know, there is no place like home, and having the opportunity to enjoy a cup of old family memories just makes their day sweeter.
