Did you know that second to oil, coffee is the world's most traded commodity, with about half a trillion cups consumed per year?

There are two main commercially grown types of coffee beans: Arabica, which accounts for 70% of the world's coffee, and Robusta. The country that produces the most coffee is Brazil. It has been the leading grower of coffee beans for over 150 years! They produce 35% of the world total  coffee plants. These plants are now cultivated in over 70 countries, primarily in the equatorial regions of the americas, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and Africa.
