Created to not only be a great tasting coffee but also to showcase a different animal related non-profit every 3 months. Since February 1, 2019 we have been donating 20% of the sales price of every pound sold of this amazing blend to the currently featured charity/non-profit.
You might be wondering “if it’s a good charity, why keep switching?” and that is a great question. Tend Coffee is a human sized of team of Baristas and Coffee Roasters with only so much reach our own. By changing the featured organization every 3 months we increase the awareness of the great work these non-profits are doing all around us.
A comforting blend of Central American coffees is complimented by the earthiness of our Specialty Grade Indonesian beans to create the blend we call Grass Puppy. Playful, Dark and Smooth best describes this blends characteristics.
Our Currently Featured Charity:
North Fork Country Kids
"We are a small Not-For-Profit, volunteer-only organization on the North Fork of Long Island, New York. We are made up of educators, students, activists, long-time rescuers, and residents who strive to protect and assist the feral cat population through TNR (trap, neuter, return). Likewise, we focus our attention to cat rehabilitation and assist dogs that need placement when we are called to help. Among our efforts are educating those around us about the feral cat population and helping Long Islanders protect and preserve Long Island's North Fork land and wildlife.
Our mission extends to advocacy and educating the very young to the very young at heart about animal health and safety. Volunteers help to promote our love of animals. We assist when we can and in any way possible. We show compassion to all and are a cross-curricular/cross-generational group that fosters altruism and tenacity through our Junior Volunteer and Rescue Vixens programs."
They will be sent a check 1-2 weeks from the completion of this 3 month cycle, with the last day being October 31, 2026.
