BACKGROUND
The Sipi Falls Coffee Project, established in 1999, is located in the Mount Elgon region of Uganda. It currently includes more than 5,000 small-scale farmers and spans over 2,000 hectares of coffee production. Farmers are consistently enhancing their agricultural practices to achieve greater yields and improve product quality. Through extensive intercropping, they provide shade and essential nutrients for the coffee trees, while also creating additional sources of income.
